Thomas L. Bradbury Jr., MD, was born and raised in Atlanta and attended Washington and Lee University, where he played football for four years and served as president of the university's pre-medical society. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, where he served as president of the Honor Council and Alpha Omega Alpha, received the Stehle Memorial Scholarship, and graduated first in his class.

Dr. Bradbury completed orthopedic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was elected administrative chief resident. He then completed fellowship training in hip and knee replacement at the OrthoCarolina Hip and Knee Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Since beginning practice in Atlanta in 2007, Dr. Bradbury has focused exclusively on hip and knee replacement care. He introduced anterior hip replacement to the Atlanta market in 2009 and has helped advance outpatient joint replacement and anterior hip replacement care in the region.

His expertise includes outpatient hip and knee replacement, narcotic-sparing recovery protocols, robotic-assisted surgery, implant and instrument design, rapid recovery, infection prevention, blood clot prevention, patient optimization, and value-based care. He has served as president of the Georgia Orthopaedic Society and Atlanta Orthopaedic Society, delivered more than 100 invited lectures, trained medical students, orthopedic residents, and hip and knee fellows, and published extensively on hip and knee replacement.
