Surgeon Profile
Whether you are seeking relief from painful arthritis through joint replacement or facing the uncertainty of a bone or soft tissue tumor, my goal is to provide expert, compassionate care tailored to your individual needs. I believe every patient deserves a thorough evaluation, a clear understanding of their diagnosis, and a treatment plan based on the latest evidence and surgical techniques. From primary and complex revision joint replacement to the diagnosis and management of benign and malignant musculoskeletal tumors, I am committed to delivering personalized care with an emphasis on precision, innovation, and restoring function. My team and I work closely with each patient throughout their journey, ensuring timely access to care, open communication, and support every step of the way so you can return to the activities that matter most.
Every visit begins with listening. I take the time to understand your symptoms, concerns, and goals before performing a thorough evaluation and reviewing all available imaging or test results. Together, we discuss your diagnosis, the available treatment options, and the expected outcomes so you can make informed decisions with confidence. Whether your condition requires observation, additional testing, nonsurgical treatment, or surgery, my goal is to ensure you leave your appointment with a clear understanding of your condition and a personalized plan for moving forward.
We would be a good fit if you're experiencing joint pain, arthritis, or if you have concerns about a bone or soft tissue tumor. Whether you have been newly diagnosed, are seeking a second opinion, or have a complex problem that requires specialized care, you will receive a comprehensive evaluation and a personalized treatment plan. From routine joint replacement to the management of rare and challenging musculoskeletal tumors, our focus is on providing timely, evidence-based care that helps patients understand their condition and confidently move forward.
Patients can request an appointment with Dr. Reimer through Total Joint Specialists. He sees patients at all three clinic locations each week and makes every effort to accommodate urgent consultations as quickly as possible, with many patients able to be seen the same week their referral or appointment request is received.
Yes! I provide comprehensive care for patients with hip and knee arthritis, offering both nonsurgical and surgical treatment options. Treatment begins with conservative approaches whenever appropriate. When surgery becomes the best option, I perform advanced hip and knee replacement procedures using modern, evidence-based techniques, including anterior hip replacement and robotic assisted surgery, in order to relieve pain, restore mobility, and help patients return to an active lifestyle.
The decision depends on pain severity, imaging, function, health history, prior treatments, and personal goals. The surgeon visit is designed to compare reasonable options and explain what surgery can and cannot reliably improve.
Dr. Reimer sees patients in our East Cobb (Marietta), Sandy Springs, and Smyrna locations every week.
If you are unsure whether this profile is the best fit, scheduling can confirm the surgeon, office, visit type, and whether your concern is hip arthritis, knee arthritis, same-day planning, recovery, or revision evaluation.
